Pray for Us

“Without a doubt, our greatest need is the faithful prayers of God’s people. Please pray for us, and let us know how we can pray for you.” — Jim Wood

Make a Donation

Since its inception, the Ranch has never accepted government support. We depend on generous, faithful support of individual donors. If you would like to support the Ranch, you can give online now, or send your check to 100 One Fine Place, Sevierville, TN 37862-2505. Please remember that your gift must be postmarked by December 31 to be counted for this tax year.

Note: We are an ECFA Accredited Organization. Click here to learn more about the ECFA.

Gifts of stock and monthly automated giving by credit card or ACH are gratefully accepted. For more information, contact Lindsay Townsend at accounting@wvr.org or 865-429-5437.

If you have high-quality items you’d like to donate, or if you’d like to meet a specific need, consider providing something on our wish list.

Get Involved

Become a volunteer family. During student breaks, particularly around holidays, children from the Ranch often stay with volunteer families. Our volunteer families must meet the same high standards as our staff, but the rewards of serving children in this way are beyond description. If you’d like more information about becoming a volunteer family, contact Carlie Popa at the Counseling Center, cpopa@wvr.org or 865-429-0372.

Become a year-long or summer volunteer Mentor. Each year, college students and recent college graduates volunteer a year or a summer to work directly with students in the homes at the Ranch. The Mentorship position is a twenty-four-hour discipling opportunity, with a chance to make an eternal impact in the lives of children. Mentors also gain valuable hands-on experience in tutorial education, counseling, and Bible as they work alongside the houseparents, under the tutelage of Pastor Wood and our Counseling staff. If you think God may be calling you to become a volunteer Mentor, contact Carlie Popa at cpopa@wvr.org or 865-429-0372.

Plan a volunteer project and retreat for your church or civic group. Each year over 300 volunteers come to the Ranch to work on a variety of projects — everything from painting, construction, landscaping to clerical work and outreach to neighbors. If you’d like more information about volunteering, visit the volunteer and retreats page and contact Seth Houser, shouser@wvr.org or 865-429-5437.
